  Do you trust your instincts?

  its strange most of my life i have always gone with my instincts and they have proved most valueble, for instance i seem to sense things that will happen on a daily basis and most of the time my instincts are right.. like today i knew my landlord was going to evict me so he could renovate his house and i was right, today i got call to say he,s given us notice to leave.. also few years back i got robbed, and for some strange reason i knew my so called best friend did it,and days later i found out he had robbed me.. i seem to pick up a vibe from somewhere almost as if someones telling me something thats happening or going to happen.

  its strange it must be some kind of sixth sense.

  why didnt it work though when i was fooled by jws.

  Do dreams mean anything?

  i don't normally put a lot of stock in dreams having great importance.

  it's extremely rare that i have nightmares and also not uncommon for me to go days or weeks without dreaming at all, at least that i'm aware of when i wake up the next morning.. what does it mean to have recurring dreams in which i'm back at home living with my parents and in the dubs?

  last night i had a particularly disturbing one in which i was back home with my family in the home we lived in way back before i was 12 and in the dream for some reason that never came up i was going to be killed and they didn't care.

  i've read what joe alward wrote.if he's an atheist,i can see why he won't trust the bible.i mean after all,he has done the one major thing most folks why try to tear the bible apart to prove absolutely nothing.

  by taking a verse out of content and not reading the next verse can mean anything for anyone.i mean the watchtower does it all the time.

  example: ezekiel 20:25,"therefore i also gave them up to statutes that were not good,and judgments by which they could not live.

  If you didn't believe that the bible is the word of God, it simply means that you didn't read and hear "God" at the time you read it. It doesn't make you an athiest - better to say what you truthfully think - " let your yes be yes and your no be no " - and behold, you are a christian.

  I would more likely think that you simply didn't hear what other people said was supposed to be there, or that everyone else wouldn't shutup when you were trying to read it. You know, the thing about goats was that they take away the food from the sheep, it's not that they wouldn't swallow everything - quite the contrary.

  The thing with the bible is that even if you didn't read "God", there are other people who wrote it and read it that have been so floored by the truth they saw, that they personally heard, that lots of other people just know that something's going on there - and for whatever reasons, they're willing to try and find out.

  I would venture to say that Buddhists generally have more respect for the christian bible, than do most 'christians', and I think that the Dalai is a fair dinkum christian - "my religion is kindness" - certainly leaves the apocalyptic crew behind - it's no wonder at all that people put aside the christian bible.

  I'm a catholic myself, that is, it's my tradition and my ritual. I know that St. Francis (who I was taught of a lot) in prayer spoke of his brother the sun and sister the moon. Through the ages people thought of it as 'nice' sounding - but I reckon he meant it, which is a bit out there for some catholics. He also prayed a prayer that was prayed by Augustine "What are You and what am I?"

  JA seems to think that if the bible isn't a book of historical facts then it can't have come from God. Well, so it's his perogative to think that - but JA pushes it too, enough to make me wonder if there's something about it that he hates - did he think it was facts at one time? Is the bible not what he wanted? Or is he just too flabbergasted at fundamentalists to keep it all in perspective anymore?

  he made a convincing case that the wt is going to suffer judgement for what they have done.

  i still believe in jehovah, but not in the wt, and this makes sense to me.

  first of all, sorry for my bad english i'm from peru south america.

  there's a lot to tell but i'm going in this time to be brief, because i'm very busy.. i had been an elder for almost 8 years and a jh for more than 22 years.. i'm a searcher of the truth from the 10 years old.

  i grow as a catholic and got baptized as a jh at the age of 21.. in october of 2001 a jw friend ask me about the un&wt and bulgarian affair.

  below i show that it is taught that the woman was created from man, for man, that man--not woman--is the glory of god, and that women are not allowed to teach or control man because the woman, not the man, is the one who was deceived by the serpent.

  Spiritually speaking (i.e. the bible), spirit is male, soul is female. Try that Joseph, and see how it reads. Of special consideration to Jesus are widows. "take care then of your widows, so we may see to those who are widows indeed"
